Yes you know about Multi-Tasking on IOS4+ iDevices by simply double pressing the Home Button (you didn’t know that?). And to close these open apps you just have to press one of the icons for a few seconds and the “(-)” will appear on the icon corner allowing you to close the apps. Cool? Well hell yeah, but there is one app that is even cooler, Direct Closer Pro.

Direct Closer Pro works similar to the native IOS multi-tasking but instead of making you do the extra few steps in closing the apps the “(-)” will visible/active as soon as you Multi-Task (double press the Home Button). This app is awesome. So go ahead multi-task and free up your iDevice memory just by a press of a button, or two 🙂

Have you ever got your hands on an up-to-date Android phone? or have you seen whats on the new IOS5? Well if you have iDevice with IOS4 you might want to enable it with one feature that the Android is cool off the shelf for,  NOTIFIED. Which include:

  • Logs notifications allowing for offline viewing
  • Support for several notification types
  • Bookmarking, to keep important notifications
  • Beautifully designed and coded

To make the app work like the Android version which allows you to swipe the application into place like a curtain from the status bar to cover the screen you must use the Cydia App ACTIVATOR. Within the Activator you can configure your iDevice to open Notified in that manner

Bear in mind that your device should be Jailbreaked and running at least IOS4.

Most mobile SIM cards have telco dependent “applications” on them. Well they’re not real applications like what you can find on the iPhone itself but more like menu options that allow you access information from the telco that you are subscribed to. Most common applications found in the SIM are: Balance inquiry, Current Balance, Latest Bill, Subscribe to text/voice promos, access SIM Address book and SIM messages inbox. Typically the SIM Menu can be found as an ICON on more common phones, as for the iPhone it’s well tucked away in the Settings Menu.

To access the SIM Applications go to the:

Settings
Phone
SIM Applications

From there you will see all the menu options you SIM card has. Enjoy 🙂

This error pops up every time I open apps or SMS messaging with the WIFI, Data, 3G turned OFF.

Solution:
Jailbreak your I-device
In Cydia download “popupblocker”
Install
Respring device
Settings/Popup Blocker
Enable Alerts for “Data Network Errors”

That should do it.

There is no other way to solve this problem except by turning ON WIFI or mobile internet, the latter would incur data charges .
